And now for something completely different: Last Spring

So we’re out on our jog and this tune, Last Spring, by Grieg comes on the radio. Stop and take a listen before continuing. We had never heard it before, and our reaction was similar to many of the commenters on that recording: remarkable, stunning, intensely evocative. There’s a version with lyrics, but we prefer this one. Grieg had a tough life with lots of terrible medical problems. His version of Jobs’ Oh Wow was well, if it must be so. Too bad he couldn’t whistle the tune he had written.

And now back to the utter idiocy of today’s universities: next stop, Existence Privilege. “How dare you exist when trillions of imagined creatures don’t?”
