What question would you ask?

Suppose there’s a holdup in the Bronx and Brooklyn’s broken out in fights, and there’s a traffic jam in Harlem that’s backed up to Jackson Heights. Also there’s a Scout troop short a child and Khrushchev’s due at Idlewild. What question would you ask? Answer: who’s Khrushchev and what’s Idlewild?

re who’s Khrushchev and what’s Idlewild?

Yes. Back in the early 2000s, I downloaded some TV theme songs and Car 54 was one of them. I hadn’t heard the song in perhaps 40 years, and when I heard that line I wondered, does that make any sense to young people today, or are they better educated than I give them credit for?

And the implication of the scout troop being short a child is that the child is merely temporarily lost, and will be found by supper time. No Amber Alerts (oh wait! There wern’t any back then.) or foul play suspected.
