Copernicus and Ptolemy

Copernicus and Ptolemy. You’ve probably read The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. It describes the absurd efforts the apologists for Ptolemy took, with eccentric orbits and convoluted math, to hold together their untenable world view in the face of increasing evidence that the earth revolved around the sun. The Democrats have been doing this for years, with increasingly untenable and unstable coalitions in the face of conservative progress. In the post 9-11 environment, with the premium applied to reality instead of pipe-dreams, these doomed efforts have become increasingly desperate – hence the multiplicity, brazenness and visibility of the voter fraud operations in this election. There are several implications to this: (a) the Republican majority is somewhat larger than it even appears; so that (b) the antics under Nancy Pelosi will get even more bizarre as they move to the ultimate crack-up. “Extremist” is the nicest thing any conservative will be called in the days ahead, and they will try some nutty stuff that is hard to imagine. Prediction: now that getting Democrat turnout of 100-150% of the base has failed to win the election, Democrats will turn from mere fraud to more creative proposals; these may include mandatory voting, as in Iraq, since the affluent are unfairly represented in the voting booths of America.
