“I was exercising my political expression” — statement of the fellow who almost ran down Katherine Harris
Barry Seltzer, 46, Sarasota resident and registered Democrat, has a unique concept of political expression. He reminds us, in his way, of the fellow in the post immediately below. Here’s Barry, and some of the arrest documents:
He said that there were Katherine Harris supporters that were impeding traffic on Fruitville Road.
“I intimidated them with my car.”
“They were standing in the street.”
“I was exercising my political expression.”
“I did not run them down, I scared them a little.”
It was at this point that Seltzer was stopped in the midst of his political expression so that he could be read his Miranda rights.
