Reading Osama in Teheran II
Back in October 2004, we speculated that Osama bin Laden was in Iran, having received a kidney transplant, because he looked so good in his TV endorsement of John Kerry. (Here are a couple of posts around that time.) Michael Ledeen speculates the same thing today, based on his interpretation of statements by Porter Goss. In olden times, such as late 2001, harboring bin Laden would have been the textbook example of a violation of the Bush Doctrine. Ah, how time flies.
We listened to the fantasy impeachment hearing of John Conyers and a bunch of loons today on KPFK. It was mostly good fun. It’s just hard to imagine these people getting any crazier. We suggest the Bush administration go after bin Laden in Iran — in force — so we can witness spontaneous combustion by these men and women of the Left.
