The deplorable Blanco, the Red Cross and the Superdome: the question is why?

We and others reported a few days ago that the state government mandated the misery at the Superdome by keeping out the Red Cross. Now Fox is featuring the story (Political teen video), and Captain Ed and Hugh Hewitt have pieces on it. It is one thing, we suppose, not to advertise the Red Cross comforts before the storm, lest the Superdome become a magnet (that pathetic logic was the official rationale), but it is quite another thing not to let the Red Cross do precisely the work it does in every other disaster after the storm had passed. We are tempted to look for nefarious explanations, but the truth is probably more appalling than that: with Blanco and Nagin, no level of incompetence is beyond the imagination.

Why? Why? That is what every American with a
balue system is asking. Could this be the answer?

It is so SIMPLE, too CYNICAL for we
people who have a sense of good and
evil to immediately consider. We are
not into that “cut off our noses to
    spite our faces” mentality.

Bush made a lot of political hay in
    Florida during the relief efforts
after each of the four hurricanes
that struck this important state in
    2004.

Kerry lost Fla, Praise God! Bush won
Louisiana and Dems are worried about
    holding Governorship in future. They
    could not allow Bush/Republicans to
be heros. FEMA did great in Fla because Jeb had all local and state
    first responders organized.

THEY HAD TO KEEP THEM ALL OUT.
Had the levees not breached, the
Governor could have been made a star
by the LSM. THEY HAD TO KEEP BUSH
    OUT!

The Dems had to keep him out. And now
I will go one step further - perhaps
too far - but wonder what would be revealed if we had the phone records
of James Lee Witt, Blanco, Landrieu
    brother and sister,Clintons (or close
minion) from August 23rd thru today.

And speaking of Mr. Witt, who was all
over the news nets and was given extra long segments with softball and leading questions to guarantee he
expressed all his concern and how he and Bill would have done it all so much better.

I have not seen him for past two days.
You see, I am disabled and have the time to make my remote circuit of CNN FNC CNBC MSNBE CSPAN CSPAN2 CNN HL
often enough that I only hear commercials when I am reading or
    responding to Blogs.

The Louisiana FEMA director is AWOL,
    Blanco is now dead meat.

Nagin has ratted Blanco out, do you think she’ll try to finger her
    “advisers”? Her appointed LA FEMA
    DIRECTOR?

    Most interesting days ahead.

Larwyn: Want to place a bet that if harpie Pelosi gets her way, James Lee Witt will be on the Katrina Commission? It’ll be the equivalent of Jamie Gorelick on the 9/11 panel.

As G.W. said “Fool me once Uh Uh Uh”

Misunderestimated will never allow another “911 Omission” (Shrinkwrapped)
without very strong protective stand up Republicans.

We still don’t totally get although we are a party of ladies and gentlemen
we need some more “streetfighters” like Ted Olsen, Baker, Rumsfeld.
They do not sink to the level of BenVinesta, but do not allow any point
    to go unanswered.

And I hope you love that sweet lady from Texas, Kay Bailey Hutchison,
she can kill with a smile when she needs to. Wonderful to see a debate
between Sen Kay and Sen Hill. Class will out. Class with Steel.
