The wit and humor of John Kerry: “The Katrina Administration”
Up to now, we’ve had to make do with Kerry humor created by others. Now the former gun-runner to the Khmer Rouge treats us to a veritable SAT of jolly Euclidian logic in his speech at Brown University the other day (via The Hill):
“This is the Katrina administration,” read prepared remarks posted on 2004 Democratic presidential nominee’s website, www.johnkerry.com. “Katrina is a symbol of all this administration does and doesn’t do,” read Kerry’s script, portions of which were included in an e-mail to supporters that ended with a fundraising appeal.
“Michael Brown [Bush’s former emergency-management director] … is to Katrina what [former Iraq administrator] Paul Bremer is to peace in Iraq; what [former CIA Director] George Tenet is to slam-dunk intelligence; what [former Deputy Defense Secretary] Paul Wolfowitz is to parades paved with flowers in Baghdad; what [Vice President] Dick Cheney is to visionary energy policy; what [Defense Secretary] Donald Rumsfeld is to basic war planning; what [House Majority Leader] Tom Delay [R-Texas] is to ethics; and what George Bush is to ‘Mission Accomplished’ and ‘Wanted Dead or Alive.’”
Too bad Kerry can’t deliver the speech his writers crafted. He stepped all over some of his best lines: “Katrina is a symbol of all this administration does and doesn’t do. Michael Brown — or Brownie as the President so famously thanked him for doing a heck of a job - Brownie is to Katrina what Paul Bremer is to peace in Iraq….” Lose the cadence, lose the power. Oh well, some things never change.

Wonder what the percentage of students in audience would understand
your phrase “of jolly Euclidian logic”?
I doubt many.
Larwyn begins her rant:
We allowed the Left to take over our schools and universities.
We signed the checks to send our Freshmen off to these “institutes of higher
learning”.
We were so proud of their acceptance to one of the “elites”.
We never noticed that they had eliminated Philosophy 101 - LOGIC from Freshman requirements and from requirements for graduation.
It does show that the Left knew that their “arguments” do not make sense.
Therefore, they had to eliminate any courses that would teach students the
laws of making sense and the knowing of non-sense when they heard it.
Try to sign your High School student up for Latin. Teaching the roots of
our language is also dangerous to the Left.
As is History.
As is actual Geography.
As is (fill in the blanks - I get too angry)

The anti-corolorary to Euclidian logic is that A + B DOES EQUAL C.
RED State Translation: Democratic Hatred of Bush + 60 Years of rule by Lousiana MULES does equal “BUSH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KATRINA AFTERMATH.
I can remember Hurricane Andrew (A), Charles (C), Ivan (I), Dennis (D), before Katrina (K) and now Rita (R).
I missed it but where is the chaos, which includes the gun fights, looting, murder and rape in the streets of east Texas and western Louisana?? FEMA probably did the same for Rita as they did for Hurricanes A, C, D, I, and K.
As a matter of fact, where was the lawlessness in Florida when they were hit with 4 hurricanes in a single season?
Could it be that FEMA has NOTHING to do with the breakdown and chaos of New Orleans as much as its citizens did? Perhaps those same lawless citizens caused delays for the safety of public officials trying to help which became an international laughing stock by the international media.
It seems to me that some democrats and blacks want to cover their crimes by blaming the Federal government because they are unable to face their own moral decay.
If morality is not important to the 9th Ward when Federal Disaster relief was granted (two days before Katrina) it will not be important when the levees break.
No similar meltdowns in Pensacola, Florida, Biloxi, Mississippi, Mobile, Alabama, and Beaumont, Texas. So exactly what again is YOUR problem New Orleans, Louisana?
We regret your loses, we have donated massively, and we may even be foolish enough to rebuild your city — the world’s largest soup bowl …
But face it New Orleans, Louisana citizens, for 3 to 4 days you embarrassed all of the United States of America with your social decay and moral breakdown. Possibly the legacy of 60 years of democratic rule in Louisana??
We are waiting for some reasonable explanation for what we saw and making Bush your scapegoat will not work in the RED America. For the one millionth time in Euclidian logic :
The “F” in FEMA does NOT stand for FIRST RESPONSE!
Change your ways New Orleans or insure RED AMERICA will stay CONSERVATIVE.
Bush’s numbers are falling because he folded like a cheap suit and relieved the FEMA director. Bush is not acting conservative enough for many many RED State conservatives. The Democratic “Blame BUSH” mantra is not why his numbers are falling. He is acting TOO
democratic for our tastes. I mean what choice do we have??
Let Nagin or Blanco run the country!!!!
