Everything a Muslim does and says should be according to the Quran and Hadeeth. Being broadminded, having better relationships and understandings are only allowed if it is according to the Islamic law’s and teachings. Pictures are not allowed in Islam and majority of Muslims in the World agree. Islam is the truth and if any other Prophets were alive at this time, they would surely be Muslim and follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him). That is as open and broadminded and logical you can possibaly get in terms of truth, justice and reality etc. But some people call Muslims ignorant when in fact they are the real ignorant one’s who blindly follow their governement politics and media brainwashing… people openly rejecting something they know nothing of.

You need to be an individual and be broadminded, I makes for better relationships and understanding, Do you even know why you dislike a likeness of the Prophet (PBUH).

worshiping pictures is not a reality now. We should care for other things. we do not have a problem with pictures and sculptures in turkey

One should be bothered about ones own self. I condem the act of anti Islam. Its just that they are jealous about the religion its teacher and its teachings. Almighty Allah the creator of the world and the universe is patiently waiting for the judgement day , thanks to Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) with whose prayers Allah hu taala’s wraths on this world is holded. But by Allah the one who’s gone astray will be punished in the here after. Who have disobayed will be in Jahanum ( hell) with the fire fuming out or the own library’s or Museum. The more you collect the more you burn.

I know where I would draw the line. I’d tell CAIR and anyone else who complains about “offensive” depictions of Mohammad to take a hike. I don’t see an “Islam” exception in the First Amendment. Whatever standards are applied to the depiction of Christian, Jewish, Buddist, etc., themes in art should apply equally to Islamic themes.

I learn more in 1 hour reading about history and background to current events on the conservative/right wing websites than I did in a month of listening to my high school teacher
Mr Zelnikoff and reading left slanted textbooks.

seeking approval from CAIR is the reason why I never contribute to the annual fund drive on PBS. SUrely they air worthy documentaries of notable yet forgotten Americans ( Jonas Salk, Sabin, Deeming, Hank Greenberg, Fred Gwynne et al ) but their appeasement is so disturbing. I prefer not to watch.

By the way:

1. Feb 5, 2005 – no mention of any muslim torchings on Air America Radio but more than one guest has raised the name of Bill Moyers of a potential Democratic candidate in 2008. Ugggh!
