We are going to quote a piece nearly in its entirety by Thomas Lifson from the American Thinker. Note that you now read words like sharia, jizya, and dhimmitude with fluency. Clarity is coming to the war like a slowly rising tide:

Muslims seek to impose Shari’a Law on the UK

As in the Danish cartoon riots, Muslims aggressively seek to impose Shari’a on the infidels of Europe. This time the target is marriage law. The BBC reports:

Muslims in Britain are to challenge UK law which forbids husbands from having more than one wife. They say they will refer Britain’s ban on polygamous marriage to the European Court of Human Rights this autumn. Under Islamic law a man is allowed to have up to four wives, but the Muslim Parliament of Britain says that many families are being forced to live outside the law because their polygamous marriages are not recognised here.

Of course, no Muslim is suggesting the Saudi Arabia permiut free worship by Christians and Hindus and Buddhists and Jews on its territory, or even that infidels be allowed to visit Mecca. You see, human rights are only a tool with which to destroy the West and impose Shari’a, jizya, and dhimmitude on the foolish infidels. If Shari’a is so important to UK Muslims, then they can always immigrate to a Muslim society. Strangely enough, very few seem to consider this as an option.

Did you notice that you also read the words “the Muslim Parliament of Britain” without stopping or thinking twice?

UPDATE II: Non-libelous statements

Another step on the road to clarity is the settlement of the lawsuit by CAIR against Andrew Whitehead of anti-CAIR for making the following statements:

*“Let there be no doubt that CAIR is a terrorist supporting front organization that is partially funded by terrorists, and that CAIR wishes nothing more than the implementation of Sharia law in America.”

*CAIR is an “organization founded by Hamas supporters which seeks to overthrow Constitutional government in the United States and replace it with an Islamist theocracy using our own Constitution as protection.”

*“ACAIR reminds our readers that CAIR was started by Hamas members and is supported by terrorist supporting individuals, groups and countries.”

*“Why oppose CAIR? CAIR has proven links to, and was founded by, Islamic terrorists. CAIR is not in the United States to promote the civil rights of Muslims. CAIR is here to make radical Islam the dominant religion in the United States and convert our country into an Islamic theocracy along the lines of Iran. In addition, CAIR has managed, through the adroit manipulation of the popular media, to present itself as the ‘moderate’ face of Islam in the United States. CAIR succeeded to the point that the majority of its members are not aware that CAIR actively supports terrorists and terrorist supporting groups and nations. In addition, CAIR receives direct funding from Islamic terrorists supporting countries.”

*“CAIR is a fundamentalist organization dedicated to the overthrow of the United States Constitution and the installation of an Islamic theocracy in America.”

In an amusing side note, we found no mention of Abdul Rahman on the CAIR website, though we found references in a Google search. Several of those, however, referred not the the Afghani convert, but to the blind sheikh. We preserved a screen shot of CAIR’s website, showing no interest in the religioous convert, though we have seen a reference to a press release with tortured wording, in which CAIR pretends that Islam has no problem with apostasy. Hah!
