From David Westin to ho-hum
It was a big deal when David Westin of ABC made his Pentagon comments four years ago. It It was kind of a big deal when Christiane Amanpour accused the administration of lying about WMD three year ago. It was more of a big deal when Dan Rather went in the tank with Ben Barnes and Mary Mapes two years ago. It wasn’t a big deal when the entire MSM cooperated with the slick and orchestrated PR campaign of Cindy Sheehan one year ago. And we now barely notice when an top ABC producer sends messages like “Bush makes me sick.”

Eh.
I think this is silly. Does it demonstrate bias? Sure. Do I care what opinions are in emails? Not really.
Maybe it’s just because I turned off MSM long ago that I am blase about yet another demonstration that they are overwhelmingly liberal.
Today I was watching the extras on “A History of Violence”. In it the cast & crew had a mock election – the movie was made during the 04 elections – and Kerry won 75 to 6. I was gratified there were as many as 6 people on that set who would actually vote for Bush.
Media elite, and indeed rank-and-file, are overwhelmingly liberal, and though they can’t admit that their bias colors their craft, I doubt many of us on the right even care to be outraged when their biases come through loud and clear. We have identified the moldy spots on the cheese, and we can cut around them to get to the good stuff.
