This recent post on Powerline inspired a profound question: is Hamas the Walrus and Hezbollah the Carpenter, or vice versa? As for the idea of giving up land and getting peace, “if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn’t, it ain’t. That’s logic.”
