Ahmadinejad’s colorful language

We don’t much like his overall message, but listen to the way he speaks about his adversaries:

“They say we want to give Iranians incentives but they think they are dealing with a four-year-old, telling him they will give him candies or walnuts and take gold from him in return,” Ahmadinejad told a crowd in the central city of Arak….”We trusted you three years ago and accepted suspension but unfortunately this proved to be a bitter experience in Iranian history. We will not be bitten by the same snake twice,” Ahmadinejad said of European diplomacy.

We find ourselves in agreement with him about the diplomats and diplomacy currently being visited upon Iran.

UPDATE

After Kofi Annan suggested that Ahmadinejad tone down his rhetoric, the President spoke further:

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has mocked countries that are against Iran’s controversial nuclear program as suffering from mental problems. “Those (countries) who get upset at the happiness and progress of others are suffering from a mental problem and therefore should find a way to cure themselves,” Ahmadinejad told a rally in the town of Zarandieh in the Markazi province.

Now he is sending a dawa to the Pope too.
