Yesterday’s CNN radio news at 12:30 eastern called the Senate vote against withdrawal “resounding” but never mentioned the 83 – 16 tally. We’d call 83 -16 “overwhelming,” but that’s just us. In any event, facts are preferable to adjectives; maybe CNN should just stick to the facts.

Today’s morning TV report referred to the Islamic terror group that wanted to attack the Sears Tower a “cult.” The reporter said, “We just don’t know what to make of it,” after saying that the group wanted to behead people. Funny, we figured all that out a few years ago. Let us know when CNN figures out what this “cult” might be and finally figures out what “to make of it.” Oh, wait — we remember now. It’s all George Bush’s fault!
