Human shields — as small as children, as big as a country
We have previously discussed the difficult questions of: (a) warfare when the enemy does not acknowledge civilians (but is all too happy to use them for Western MSM); and (b) warfare when only one side plays by the civilizing Western rules of war. Today’s update includes this picture, said to be of Hamas fighters, via Tigerhawk:
No doubt if some of these kids get killed, certain of the villainous MSM will report without comment the enemy’s spin that Israel has been “targeting children” or some such rubbish. But it’s not just children who are human shields. We like the way Austin Bay put it: “Hezbollah essentially holds Lebanon hostage.” A whole country of human shields; how about that.
UPDATE
Hezbollah likes to place its rockets and artillery in everyone’s back yard. Much more convenient. No need to go to the front lines; they will come to you.
