“An amazing unraveling of the mainstream media”

Roger Simon has an excellent editorial that covers the two critical points of Reutersgate. The reporting standards of the MSM been shown to be biased and corrupt beyond belief; more importantly, the MSM’s self-flattering rationale for this behavior has been shown to be morally bankrupt.

We have previously written that there is temptation to corruption in declining industries. The MSM present a classic case of this phenomenon.

AP – 26 minutes ago; 11:15 AM EST
BEIRUT, Lebanon – Lebanon’s prime minister said Monday that one person had been killed in an Israeli air raid on the southern village of Houla, lowering the death toll from 40 to 1.

Shamefully AP, Arab Press, took the first speech and ran with it. Are they so eager to gain market share in the Arab World that they have no standards?

Hate to use Olbermanians, but we’ve seen Reuters “Worse” & “Worser”,
    well, here’s the “Worsest”:
REUTERS’ HIJACKING LEBANON’S ANSWER TO THE UN?By Walid Phares

One has to keep in mind all the assassinations that have taken place in Lebanon. And the WSJ articles last week on the interview with Jumblatt(sic) regarding the fear that is rampant in standing up to the Hez and their
    supporters.
Nasralla has stated that Hez hasn’t quite decided how they will treat their opposition “after we have won”.
Reuters was able to preempt. As John Bolton stated today the draft was not written in a vacuum. “Worsest” seems apt.
