20% of Israelis thought they won the war
Twenty percent of those surveyed by Haaretz believed Israel was winning the war.
Since this is ultimately a stage in the long war about Israel’s survival as a country, the above statistic (as viewed by both sets of combatants) is pretty much all you need to know in order to predict that another war is just around the corner.
