Ahmadinejad appeals to the worst in Germany and the world
Ahmadinejad’s letter to Angela Merkel, in which he refers to “blackmail and extorition” by the Jews and their allies on account of that so-called Holocaust:
World War II came to an end with all its material and moral losses and its 60 million casualties. The death of human beings is tragic and sad. In all divine religions and before all awakened conscience and pure nature of mankind and the sense of right and wrong, the life, property and honor of people, regardless of their religious persuasion and ethnic background, must be respected at all times and all places.
Sixty years have passed since the end of the war. But, regrettably the entire world and some nations in particular are still facing its consequences. Even now the conduct of some bullying powers and power-seeking and aggressive groups is the conduct of victors with the vanquished.
The extortion and blackmail continue, and people are not allowed to think about or even question the source of this extortion, otherwise they face imprisonment. When will this situation end? Sixty years, one hundred years or one thousand years, when? I am sorry to remind you that today the perpetual claimants against the great people of Germany are the bullying powers and the Zionists…
That’s not the worst of it. Ahmadinejad in essence proposed a German / Iranian alliance based on their “shared principles” — just what might Ahmadinejad think that those might be?
Based on these shared principles and foundations of our faith, we believe: …You and we can found a new movement to achieve these noble human ideals …
Note to President Ahmadinejad: it’s not at all a “new movement” that you propose. We saw this play about seventy years ago.

The sooner this sick SOB is sent to Allah, the better. Hopefully Merkel will denounce his disgusting appeal in the strongest of words. If not . . . then I don’t know what to say that hasn’t already been said about the moral emptyness and cowardice of the west.

Ahmadinejad overlooks lots of history here. Did he forget that some of the “victors” of World War II helped rebuild the “vanquished” Germany with a little thing called the Marshall Plan? Has Ahmadinejad forgotten that Chancellor Merkel grew up in East Germany, which was “bullied” by the Soviet Union for 44 years after World War II, and Russia now sells weapons to Iran? What about the year-long “imprisonment” faced by 50 innocent American diplomats at the hands of a young Ahmadinejad and his gang of goons in 1979?
Somehow, I don’t think Merkel will be fooled.
