Convert to Islam or Die II — a theme that is hard to misinterpret
We have seen in recent days a clear theme from our Islamic fundamentalist enemies: convert or die. We’ve had occasion to discuss this matter of conversion or death just the other day. Today it’s that dear boy Adam Gadahn, whom we discussed one year and two years ago, delivering the message:
“Instead of killing yourself for Bush … why not surrender to the truth (of Islam), escape from the unbelieving army and join the winning side. Time is running out so make the right choice before it’s too late,” he said.
“You know that if you die as an unbeliever in battle against the Muslims you’re going straight to Hell without passing ‘Go,’” Gadahn said on the video, addressing American soldiers…
What should one make of all this? One possible interpretation is that al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and the other cadres of fundamentalist Islam are a little fed up at having their message diluted. They certainly do not think of themselves as people who have “hijacked” a religion, and it’s pretty obvious that they don’t think they represent a “religion of peace.” However, they very specifically claim to represent and speak on behalf of the religion of Islam, to which they invite our conversion.
The Islamic fundamentalists speak with clarity, power and authority on behalf of their vision of Islam. When they say, “the simple matter of fact is there is no middle ground,” we understand them completely. By contrast, it is much harder to understand those who give fuzzy-wuzzy assurances that these fundamentalists are not real Muslims, or that their interpretation of Islam is somehow messed up, or based on bad exegesis of the Koran. We can’t help wondering if the real reason we have seen no organized, fervent outcry against these fundamentalists over the last five years by the moderate Muslim world is that the fundamentalists have a pretty good case for their interpretation of scripture.

“Convert or die?” Yea, I’ll get right on that. As soon as I finish outfitting the armory, that is. “…moderate Muslim world” is surely a joke that simply perpetuates the myth of “moderation” in anything having to do with Islam. The lack of any repudiation of Islamofascism from the so-called “moderate Muslim” world says volumes more than any lip service any so called “Islamic moderate” will ever say. The bottom line is simple for me: we either kill them in sufficient numbers to eradicate the evil vicious disease we refer to as “Islam” or they will continue to kill us ever increasing numbers in an attempt to destroy Western civilization. I see only either complete partitioning of the Muslim world as simply a holding action, or the complete annihilation of Islam off the planet as the cure for the disease. When a billion plus community tells me they want to either kill me or insist I convert to their evil ideology as a second class member, I take them at their word. Some moderates here in the West are also starting to see my point as well -> http://www.eternityroad.info/index.php/weblog/single/the_hour_of_the_knife_game_time/

It’s true; there is no middle ground. We must choose: slavery under Islamic shari’a, continuing, ever more vicious and violent attacks on our people and our lands, or the elimination of Islam and its outriders from the nations of the West.
The free world needs an Aragorn. Let’s hope he’s not too much longer in coming.

[...] Hrm — “religion of truth.” Islam: is there any platitude it can’t envelop? But methinks I notice a subtle changing of the tone here, from the warmfuzzy wishful thinking of “religion of peace” to the more imperious-sounding “religion of truth.” Guess next it’ll be the “religion of kicking decadent infidel ass,” and when it gets to “religion of cave-dwelling goat-smelling fanatic beheaders of innocents” then we’ll finally be all the way home. Dino says: What should one make of all this? Convert to Islam or die? Again?
This war WILL be won and radical Islam WILL be defeated. There ARE those in this world who will fight against your particular brand of evil. My only regret is that when we pull you out from underneath whatever rock you’re hiding, that you’ll still be…

In search of Aragorn:
If God truly spoke to Mohammed and the Koran is truly the Word Of God, then, it`s final we`re all screwed. We might as well all bend our knees to Islam right now.
If it was not God that spoke to Mohammed And the Koran is not the Word of God then it is our right and obligation to resist, to fight, perhaps to eliminate Islam.
You can not fight or change Islam arguing Sura for Sura. That only legitimizes the Koran.
The only Question is “Is the Koran the Word of God or not?” Muslim’s assert that it was given directly to Mohammed through the angel Gabriel. But, doesn’t that beg the question that if the Word of God was delivered through an intermediary how can you know that it was truly God who spoke and not the intermediary on his own behalf.
We must put Muslim’s on the spot questioning the authority of the Koran itself and not be distracted by the petty arguments of the specific tenets of Islam.

My first order of business today is to thank Owen Johnson for the exceptional essay he put together describing our Strategy, our goals, and offering reasons for optimism in this long war against our enemies. I do not think I

Dear mr.
( peace be upon you )
I ‘ve read your post and i saw a good way of giving an opinion…..
acually me as a muslim was thinking that islam is so somehow… and i really searched the roots of islam and it was releaving that the God ( Allah ) who I love is murcyfull and the Greatest never ask us to be savages or stupid….. Islam is the reliegion of rising…
to talk francly . as i live in the middle east i saw many reasons ( but not excuses ) to why those do so …. before about 50 years the area of palistine and surrounding was occupied by israel…
and out of anger and ( guilt ) people of this places made this thier issue and put all of the islam and jihad in this box …. this feelings ispecially guilt gives thim a way to bush all the muslims to feel guilty thimselves forgitting that islam is Greater than that…( I’m not saying that we HAVE to leberate our countries but not to make it the islam’s only issue….) islam say if someone harm you fight him … and said no one is plaim for others mistakes
politicallly some dirictions used thes anger to benefet …. and one of these stories was ( usama) he was nothing but an agent against russa… and God knows for whom know… they just convense youth that if you killed non muslims thin you are doing your dutiy to God (Allah) … but in fact they never read the Quraan who said ( who kell one person if not defending he will concedered as if he kell the whole humanity…)

I am not a Muslim and looking at the current state of Islam, boy am I glad! I am sorry for all Muslims. Your leadership has let you down bigtime! Not only do they not talk sense but they can’t even condem the evil done in the name of Islam.
I am far too happy with my religion and it serves my needs well enough to bother about the good and bad of Islam. I seriously don’t care. And if Islam is really so good I trust the Muslims would also go about the serious business of salavaging their souls and reforming their own lifes. Every individual has plenty of internal house cleaning and personal redemption to worry about – why poke into what others practice or follow when your own house is so messed up. Religion is a very internal and personal thing and anyone pushing his ideas down someone else’s throat is someone doubtfull of his own beliefs. He is some one who wants more and more people to agree with him to convince himself that he is on the right path. When you are right, you don’t need approval or agreement from others – you mind your own business.
Going at the current rate, be it the act of a few crazy eccentrics or the quite acceptance of their antics by the general Muslim population, the muslims are in a direct confrontation with the non-muslim world and that will eventually come to head. The outcome of that will certainly not benefit the Muslims. In war or battle it does not matter what color, race, religion or sect you belong to. Whether you belive in a Allah or not, we all bleed and it hurts the same for everyone. If some one thinks he will go to heaven by inflicting pain on others – sweet dreams. Enjoy it while it lasts because there will be a rude awakening and it won’t be long in coming.
