The little offenses add up
The lead-in to a CBS radio news story on Ahmadinejad’s visit to the UN was a clip from Jack Murtha about how the US military is broken, has nor available reserves or equipment, and thus we must talk to our enemies like Iran — there is “no military option.” The newsreader then switched to the New York UN correspondent who said something like this: “The United Nations is a place for resulving international disputes. However, that won’t be happening this week. President Bush has categorically ruled out a meeting with Iran’s president….” It’s just so tiresome.
