Study: US kills 4 billion Iraqis

Just in the nick of time for the November election, a new study of the impact of the Iraq war has been released and it contains the terrible finding that the US is responsible for at least 4 billion Iraqi deaths. The study projected the previous sensational estimate of 655,000 deaths into the future by taking into account the children that the dead Iraqis would have had in generations to come.

UPDATE

The real “study,” which AP reported on as if it were “news,” is almost as funny and absurd. Here’s one example: those doing the report “found a small increase in deaths from other causes like heart disease and cancer.” So Bush and the Americans are giving Iraqis heart attacks too? Or maybe just causing them to eat too many trans-fatty acids. Is there nothing that the evil Americans cannot accomplish with their deadly bullets and burgers?
