Care to fly out of Charles de Gaulle airport?

You will recall that a month ago more Muslim baggage handlers at Charles de Gaulle airport were sacked after investigations into their backgrounds and activities. The total was 139 employees over a year or so. Now four of them have been reinstated. Le Figaro’s article entitled: Bagagistes musulmans: les raisons de la ”purge”.

Si quatre employés ont récupéré leurs badges, les CV de 135 autres laissent peu de doute quant à leur fanatisme. (roughly: If four employees recovered their badges, the CV of 135 others leave little doubt as to their fanaticism.)

It’s a charming group that may have been loading your baggage (and other things) at France’s leading airport. They included associates of terrorist rabble such as Omar Saiki, ex Club Gitmo guest Brahim Yadel, and affiliates of the jolly fellows who killed Northern Alliance leader Ahmed Shah Massoud for Osama bin Laden two days before 9/11. Feel any safer now?
