Some justice in “The Case of the Politically Incorrect DNA”
The North Carolina bar filed ethics charges Thursday against District Attorney Mike Nifong, the prosecutor in the Duke lacrosse case, accusing him of saying misleading or inflammatory things to the news media about the athletes under suspicion. Sometimes “defendant” is a pleasant word:
The investigation of Nifong apparently started in March. Maybe they could have said something before the May 2 primary election that was the reason for Nifong’s unspeakable persecution of the Duke men — the solution to The Case of the Politically Incorrect DNA was obvious to us and to many before then.
