Another day, another threat:

Israel and the United States will soon be destroyed, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday during a meeting with Syria’s foreign minister, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) website said in a report. “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad…assured that the United States and the Zionist regime of Israel will soon come to the end of their lives,” the Iranian president was quoted as saying. “Sparking discord among Muslims, especially between the Shiites and Sunnis, is a plot hatched by the Zionists and the US for dominating regional nations and looting their resources”…

We missed yet another threat today, the famous “10 slaps” gambit:

The Iranian news agency Mehr reported that in light of the increasing U.S. presence in the Persian Gulf, and the continuing Iranian nuclear crisis, Iranian Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezai has said that “the Iranian nation will strike 10 slaps to the face of America, in such a way that it will no longer be able to get up on the stage.”

If Iran ever acts on its oft repeated threats, the Left will look morally degenerate, and the Right will look irresponsible. No one will have any right to express surprise.
