Spot the poison gas

Brian Murphy of AP:

Insurgents exploded a truck carrying chlorine gas canisters Wednesday — the second such “dirty” chemical attack in two days…

The attacks offer a sweeping narrative on evolving tactics by Sunni insurgents who have proved remarkably adaptable…

It was unclear whether the confluence of new insurgent tactics — attacking isolated combat posts, targeting helicopters more intensely and using chlorine bombs — was coincidental or in response to the U.S. troop increase…

[Former DIA official Patrick] Lang said trucks filled with chlorine gas are “really quite deadly” because the gas is potent and spreads easily.

We know this is a tiresome theme, but we can’t stand the apparent appreciation of the killers’ ingenuity and resourcefulness: “The attacks offer a sweeping narrative on evolving tactics by Sunni insurgents who have proved remarkably adaptable…” We always think back to WWII and wonder what would happen to a MSM reporter who enthused about the successes of the “remarkably adaptable” German or Japanese army.

The gas coming from the MSM is, like chlorine, “really quite deadly” to our country’s interests.
