More than one sign of the West’s woes
Wretchard on a point we discussed the other day:
The UN spent a whole day deliberating whether to issue a statement expressing “concern” over the British hostages instead of taking the opportunity to “deplore” Iran’s actions.
Meanwhile, Bush has been blamed, of course.

The U.N. proves once again to be useless. It would take five minutes fo the U.N. to condemn Iran and demand the British hostages be released. Instead they play right into Iran’s hands.
