The scientist
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went to Greenland and to Europe on a Memorial Day weekend junket:
The California Democrat pointed to her delegation’s weekend stop in Greenland, “where we saw firsthand evidence that climate change is a reality; there is just no denying it.”
“It wasn’t caused by the people of Greenland — it was caused by the behavior of the rest of the world,” she said. Scientists have noticed that Greenland’s output of ice into the North Atlantic had increased dramatically, doubling over the decade that ended in 2005.
“We hope that we can all assume our responsibilities with great respect and that our administration will be open to listening to why it is important to go forward perhaps in a different way than we have proceeded in the past,” she told reporters.
With the dopeyness and superstition of Global Warming hysteria, we can perhaps better understand why primitive man practiced nonsensical, self-abnegating rituals, including human sacrifice (and still does) to appease the gods.

Hmmm, I wonder why a place so cold and frozen was named GREENLAND when it was first discovered.
Idiots, the lot of them.

I tell you, the breadth of Speaker Pelosi’s expertise is astounding! She’s a wife and mother, a grandmother, a legislator, a foreign policy wank, and now an expert in climate science! The woman is Plato’s Philosopher-King writ large! Is the U.S. House of Representatives enough? Shouldn’t she be ruling the world?

I guess this puts a stake through the heart of the idea that only certified climatologists are brilliant enough to have an opinion on the causes of global warming.

Nancy thinks she’s Henry Kissinger reincarnated a botox queen. She now is doing unrequested diplomacy in Chavez land. The little game she is playing is to show the world that the Democrats can make friends anywhere so please re-elect us.
This immigration piece of s#$@ of Bushes plus his total ineptness to articulate his beliefs and t ake on the Dems for six years is why we have to deal with the likes of MS Pelosi and may get many more years of this stuff. The party, should it not wake up in time, is perhaps in its waning days. Immigration is ultimately about votes folks - and the GOP will get nothing for its sellout to its base -many of whom see no difference between the parties anymore.
