Lose your history, lose your country
A country may consist of borders, language and culture, but perhaps most of all it is the active remembrance of its history. In England, it would appear that educators and Labour Party reformers are prepared to do their part to destroy the fabric that holds a country together. The UK Evening Standard:
Secondary schools will strip back the traditional curriculum in favour of lessons on debt management, the environment and healthy eating, ministers revealed.
Even Winston Churchill no longer merits a mention after a drastic slimming-down of the syllabus to create more space for “modern” issues. Along with Hitler, Gandhi, Stalin and Martin Luther King, the former prime minister has been dropped from a list of key figures to be mentioned in history teaching. This means pupils may no longer hear about his stirring speeches during the Second World War, when he told Parliament that defeating Hitler would be Britain’s “finest hour”.
The only individuals now named in guidance accompanying the curriculum are anti-slavery campaigners Olaudah Equiano and William Wilberforce.
Perhaps there are other groups in England with a vibrant sense of their own history, traditions, practices and destiny who can fill the gap being created by the Left. Perhaps indeed there are such other groups.

This isn’t about the content of the post, but for some reason, the link to “other groups” goes to a post dated 11-16-02 and called “right on pelosi” in he URL bar, but the post that shows up is called “filling in the gap” and was clearly written recently. The posts on either side of it are from Novemeber, 2002.
I’m no IT guy, but your database might be getting corrupted.

Shocking as it is, the Churchill matter may be only the tip of the iceberg:
