Recently, some politicians and the MSM have begun calling the upcoming Petraeus report the “Bush report.” We suppose the idea is to discredit whatever General Petraeus says, and to portray him as a mouthpiece of the administration. But General Petraeus did an interesting thing: he summarized his conclusions about Iraq in a public communication to the men and women working for him. Thus the question becomes: did the administration dictate to Petraeus the content of his most recent open letter to the troops?
