Been there before, but breaking some new ground as well
What looks like a one-way trip for the dollar versus some major currencies, like the pound (pictured above over a five year period), is a bit deceptive. The reality is that swings have been rather violent in several directions over a longer time frame:
This is not to counsel complacency, but merely to note that many trends have their ends, even (especially?) if they are unforeseen at certain moments in history. We believe that the current bear raid on the dollar is somewhat more complex than has been widely reported, and we hope to have some reflections on that within a day or two.

Prices have fallen by one third for those using Euros to buy dollar denominated goods over the last five years. The US is now the low-cost producer of many global products and services.
