Quite possibly a fool, but maybe not primarily for the reason conjectured in the post.  Back in &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arlen_Specter#Senate_career" rel="nofollow"&gt;1980&lt;/a&gt; when Specter was first elected to the Senate, something like the Comcast connection might not have come timely to light.  Presumably he didn't expect the current blowback.  Has he fallen behind the times?</description>
