NYT circulation down again
In the first year that we have figures for, 1993, the weekday NYT sold 758,400 copies in its local market. According to the most recent 10K, that figure is down to 501,000 copies in 2007. In other words, the Times sold about 50% more papers at home 15 years ago.
Newspapers have had a tough time generally during that period, though the Daily News and the Post have fared much better. Even given the context of its circulation decline, however, it was a bit surprising to learn that fully 44% of American voters have an unfavorable opinion of the New York Times.

I would be interested to know how much of the decline is due to the bias in their news coverage, and how much is due to the treasonous decision to undermine the war on terror. There’s no way to know for sure, but I actively go out of my way to avoid the NY Times and anything they own. They don’t provide honest coverage of the news, so the sooner they go out of business, the better.
