Joe the plumber and everybody behind him
Fox News reports an interesting exchange between a voter and Senator Obama:
“Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” the plumber asked, complaining that he was being taxed “more and more for fulfilling the American dream.”
“It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too,” Obama responded. “My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
No doubt that’s not a great comfort to the plumber and his family, but at least it’s consistent with the candidate’s position on capital gains taxes. HT: The Corner

So, when I spend my money, it’s bad. When the government takes my money, and gives it to someone else to spend, it’s good.
I want the clown who believes this to be operated on by the surgeon who partied his way through med school but got to share the grades of the students who studied.

Funny that much job security for plumbers are not the people behind him but people’s ‘behinds’!
Guess What Else Plumbers Have To Share Besides Money
It is good not to piss off plumbers or we’ll all end up neck deep in something other than money!
