A few words from the VP in waiting

Senator Biden said that the Obama-Biden administration will face some challenges, and that in its response, “it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” ABC:

“Mark my words…It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.

I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate…And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you — not financially to help him — we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Senator Biden appears to have given this quite a lot of thought. It would be interesting to hear him list the “four or five scenarios” he has in mind, and why the administration’s response will initially not appear to be right.

Senator Biden would appear to have opened the door to such questioning himself. He said, “I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here.” Will the press show any curiosity about these fairly provocative comments from the VP in waiting?

I’m going with a no here.

I think anyone can see them if they look.
1: Chavez using any excuse to move on a neighbor
    2: Israel going after Iran
    3: Iran going after Israel
4: Russia going after the Ukraine
5: Green bay getting Favre back

Since this is from a guy who thinks the word “jobs” has three letters, I don’t put much stock in it.

But, I do agree with Paul – the ObamaMedia will NOT show any curiosity about this, or Biden’s counting/spelling skills.

How can this be? I thought The One was bringing peace to the world through charm and eloquence. I thought with Him at the helm, foreign adversaries would see the error of their ways and foreign crises would be a thing of the past? I thought all the other countries of the world were supposed to like and respect U.S. after He takes office. Isn’t that what we’ve been led to believe?

Take that last line, remember Ayers, Wright and Rezko. Talk about a chill wind.

The most effective scenario would be for Iran to sink an American warship in the Straits of Hormuz. Since Obama would not respond, Iran would have control of a large chunk of the world’s oil and could intimidate Europe and the rest of the middle east.

I wouldn’t be too sure about that. Lefties both despise soldiers and consider them all powerful.

The One ™ is perfectly capable of ordering the Navy to open a blockaded strait AND not hurt anybody.
