The EPA lady was just on CNBC ... Joe challenged her on "the science is settled", she brushed it off with "well there will always be those that say ..."

She also said the 35 mpg requirement would put US "well on our way toward independence" from imported oil, which seems total baloney, to me. Some indicate it will INCREASE imported refined oil, since US refiners will be hamstrung with extra carbon credit taxes.

She surely knows she is lying and CANNOT face any real scientific debate. As long as most people are drinking the Kool-Aid and taking the "Hopium", she won't have to.

I'd say by now the majority of scientists by far, do NOT believe the science is settled at all, and indications are that CO2 is not causal.

Even IF it was causal, our silly cap n tax scheme would have next to no impact.

But this is indeed treated not as science, but as a feel good action to those that support it, and a premeditated fraud by those that profit from it. Billions will be wasted/stolen, as the politicians have another way to distribute credits to their pals and the Goldman Sachs boyz rake in huge profits in making that market.
