Who is responsible for the Age of Foolishness that grips America?

Rex Murphy in the Globe and Mail contends that, had Barack Obama run for President on a platform that consisted of what he has actually done during the past six months, he would have lost the election by a big margin:

had he run on (a) transforming the U.S. economy by massive federal government intervention, (b) taking an owner’s stake in the automobile industry, (c) transforming the rules of America’s energy economy, (d) instituting a national health-care system — all of these simultaneously and in the centre of a financial meltdown – Barack Obama wouldn’t merely have lost the election, he wouldn’t have got as many votes as gnarly old Ross Perot did

Is that so? In our opinion, there is something larger going on. It’s not just Obama, though he is an important catalyst for this unprecedented Age of Foolishness that breaches almost all areas of life. America is currently in thrall of a group of fantasists, including the President and the Congressional leadership, but importantly their mostly young and almost always ignorant acolytes — the Utopians in the media.

They have almost no knowledge of how hard it was for America to become America, how desperately difficult was the creation of this somewhat free and very propsperous country. Their ignorance has a probability of causing nearly irreparable harm to the nation before adult supervision reasserts itself. Things stand to get worse before they get better because those at the top of the media food chain are as well living in a land of fantasy and superstition, and can’t be relied upon to rein in the young and foolish.

We are. We as a people are 100% at fault for buying, reading, believing, and passing on this crap. Everyone of us has a choice about what we think. I was thoroughly trained in leftist liberalism before rejecting it. It can be done, but it takes work, an open mind, and a willingness to be hated by some people you know.

Well, no. Obama is a Marxist, his mentors (Davis, Alinsky) were radical Marxists, his associates were radical Marxists (Ayers) and criminals (Rezko), and he repeatedly professed a Marxist ideology (share the wealth, ban guns, government control). Anyone who was paying the slightest bit of attention knew all this.

Each of the points Murphy makes [(a) transforming the U.S. economy by massive federal government intervention, (b) taking an owner’s stake in the automobile industry, (c) transforming the rules of America’s energy economy, (d) instituting a national health-care system] is straight out of “The Communist Manifesto” by Karl Marx.

The electorate can only blame themselves, though it is true that the MSMM did their best to conceal Obama’s real positions.

Marxists have conducted an assault on American values for many years, with dishonest attacks on their strongest opponents (Reagan, Bush II, and Palin). Marxists have also attacked the American economy with wasteful, corrupt, and destructive programs (War on Poverty – $6.6 trillion, Mortgage Follies – several trillion more).

Marxists have now sufficiently weakened the Republic that they think they can seize power. Watch for their power play, and be ready.

IMO this election was highly manipulated and managed by both sides. From Obama the manchurian candidate, the Vote fraud, the unexamined donor $$, the choice of John McCain and his determination to be the fall guy, the destruction of Palin, Bush getting rolled by Paulson/banksters, the entire Media complex including Fox was in the tank……this election was fixed, anyone could have smelled the stink….the question is how will this end.
