Obama sure looks like a putz.

His supporters are starting to stand around, whistling a little tune, and wonder why everything is going to hell in a handbasket. That is forcing Obama to step to the fore and steady the troops.

He is not convincing nor comforting. He exposes himself as a charlatan.

I understand English. I have an adequate vocabulary. I know when someone is using a lot of words to say nothing, and I can understand why that might be convincing to some people.

We are beyond that point. The president is lying to the American people. I know the difference between an honest mistake and an attempt to deceive. I don’t know if he is deluding himself, or if he is just a liar. Either way, he must now prove every statement he makes before I will believe him.

His popularity is cratering as his deceptions become more obvious. Change is not always for the better. Everything is not worth the price, unless someone else is paying.

I would agree with some of your statement. He repeats his own talking points. Remember the strategy: stick to the same message and it will eventualy be accepted as fact. Still, a sea change is coming. I feel it as do you. The press even senses it. Look at what we’ve seen recently from them with regard to “almost” publishing the truth. If they didn’t think that some sort of payback was coming would they even dare to get that close to reporting what is actually happening?

If Obama is sounding panicky his demeanor does not betray it on the TV, nor does the press reflect that. And it is precisely because he can lie with such glibness that he has succeeded to date. So I take no comfort in your analysis — in fact I fear he will succeed in pushing something through, it will be an anchor on the economy and drive up health care costs, and he will manage to consolidate even more power under his control. My bottom line reaction is: “be afraid, be very afraid.” This is not an auspicious moment for a free market economy or republican form of government. Alas America. F
