They think this is effective?
There is something really hilarious about the DNC’s weak new ad (the brief shot of the lady holding that red Catholic bible is priceless). There are many effective and negative things to say about Republicans, but calling them a “mob” is so over-the-top it’s really hard to know what to say. (When you’re already losing Independents nearly 2 to 1, as Obama is on healthcare, and the opposition to Obamacare is likely the majority of US citizens, accusing the majority of being “extremists” seems just plain nuts.) Who is the target audience for such nonsense?

I’ve never seen anything like this activism by conservatives and even many others. Conservatives may have a real live revolt going. It’s exhilarating and completely appropriate in response to the current attempt to destroy what makes this nation exceptional. The left, including the DNC and the Obama Administration are completely knocked off their feet. They have no idea what they are dealing with or how to address it, because nobody has ever seen it before. I’m impressed with many of my fellow citizens, and likewise deeply ashamed of many of our leaders. They seem totally unworthy of their positions and power. I expect the biggest congressional turnover in history next election. The president is right about one thing, there is a mess that needs cleaning. I suspect that the electorate will do just that… soon.
