Through the looking glass
President Obama at a townhall meeting in New Hampshire on Tuesday:
I have not said that I was a single-payer supporter, because, frankly, we historically have had a employer-based system in this country, with private insurers, and for us to transition to a system like that, I believe, would be too disruptive.
Obama on single payer previously:
“I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program. I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending 14 percent, 14 percent, of its Gross National Product on health care cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody.”
This fellow must think not only that you are stupid but that the media are corrupt beyond redemption. Let’s see whether he is right.

Politicians are like convicts, if their lips are moving they’re lying.

The lying is breathtaking.

First they wanted to rush the bill through….now they want to stop the spread of rumors and get the “facts” out. One small problem is that nobody can articulate the facts because they are unknown. The line “you wont have to wait in line” will come back to haunt him.

I will be happy to wait in line to cast my vote against anyone who supports this insanity.
What sane person could possibly vote to change 14% of the economy by fiat in a bill that is yet to be written or read? Be sure to do it this month, or the economy will be irreparably damaged.
It doesn’t matter anyway, because the UN tells us the world will end if we don’t vote for the climate bill within 4 months.
Jerry Springer couldn’t sell this stuff, it’s too absurd for his audience.
