Is there such a thing as Armageddon on steroids?
We do not have the time to be clever today (or at least make the attempt), but it is remarkable the willful pace of self-destruction that the American government appears to have pursued so aggressively over the course of 2009. From the unserious treatment of those who want to kill us, to the abandonment of allies and the embracing of our adversaries, from ruinous and fatuous tax plans, through a nutty decision to outsource senior management of large companies to foreign countries with non-punitive tax regimes, so much of America has been set on a path towards something poorer and less safe — to put it mildly. The media will notice when China invades Taiwan in a couple of years, and our threats of intervention are met with the Chinese telling us they’ll stop buying our treasury bonds. The media will notice when North Korea invades South Korea and we can do nothing for the same reason. The media will notice when Russia invades Belarus and we do nothing. The media will notice when India and Pakistan finally have a nuclear exchange over Kashmir, and the Israelis and Iranians go toe to toe, finally.
After our economy finally collapses under the weight of all of the policies of what can only be called our “Incompetent, Yet Communist President”, the media will notice, because they’ll all be out of work.

American Thinker has a post up titled All the President’s Mao. It lists many of the people in senior Obama positions that are adherents of Mao. They also have some quotes from Mao, one being that you have to destroy a country before you can rebuild it. Perhaps the actions of the Obama Administration are indeed being executed according to plan and they are not the result of incompetence?

The “media” as it is referred to here is simply the propaganda arm of project O-bomb. The KGB agent occupying the oval office is just following his orders.

I also don’t think it is incompetence. It is willful to destroy our traditions and our spirit. The media will continue to be the useful idiots until the end… on them. Obama wants to bust out our economy and remake it into a fascist economy.

With the advantage of a little hindsight (it’s evening of 10/22 and news media are reporting that the White House press pool refused to interview an administration official if Fox were not included) I’m thinking the White House has backed down on their jihad against Fox. The more important question is, will the so-called legacy media stick to their guns and refuse to allow the WH to bait Fox, or will things just gradually go back to the fawning coverage of previous months. I’m betting most of the legacy media will lose no sleep over Fox being marginalized — it just has to be done a little more subtly. This administration is not known for subtlety. We’ll see. F
