On the other hand
While some in the MSM think that the administration has been a little too zealous in going after certain media outlets, that group evidently does not include Joe Klein of TIME:
Fox News peddles a fair amount of hateful crap. Some of it borders on sedition. Much of it is flat out untrue…If the problem is that stories bloated far beyond their actual importance — ACORN’s corruption, Van Jones’s radical past — are in danger of leaching out of the Fox hothouse into the general media, then perhaps the Administration should be a bit more diligent about whom it hires and whom it funds…
If the problem is broader — that Fox News spreads seditious lies to its demographic sliver of an audience — the Administration should probably be stoic: the wingnuts will always be with us. The best antidote to their garbage is elegant, intelligent governance…The problem with war is that it diverts attention from the actual news. The Administration has tried to pursue a sophisticated, difficult domestic and foreign policy. It doesn’t offer the quick-fix irresponsibility of a tax cut or an invasion. It needs space, time and patience to explain.
Thank goodness for Joe and his cool, well-reasoned analysis. We needed that. In other news, Jules Crittenden illustrates how two points of view on a story make for good coverage of the President’s trip to Boston.

A tax cut is “irresponsible”, but to triple the debt to $1.4 trillion is “sophisticated”?
And he suggests that they were not diligent about Van Jones, yet Jarret knew him well and praised his work, said they had been following him, and Jarret and Obama are Chicago best friends forever. They knew exactly what they were after in Van Jones.
And sure, how could Obama know anything at all about ACORN … he is pure as the driven snow … well, pure as the air in the old south side Chicago … where your curtains would turn black if you left the windows open. (I guess they are cleaner now, though the politics is not)
Perhaps there are blue dog Democrat reporters and columnists, that won’t fall in line so quickly as Klein … but it would be good to hear them speak up.

Why does no one ever give an example of the untruthful stories that appear on FOX. why praise this asshat?

If Joe Klein is a child molester…. The unsourced smear is easy.
This guy is a professional journalist? If FOX were spreading sedition, I’d expect an example, instead of speculation. I must remember, he writes for Time.

“…elegant, intelligent government?”
Like…what exactly?
Unreadable “porculus” and health care “De-form” bills that put our grandchildren in debt, rammed through without deliberation, …or,
…giving ancient allies as a State Gift a set of movies they can’t possibly watch and an i-Pod of speeches they would never in a million years want to listen to?
Hiring tax cheats to run the treasury, and un-vetted, un-consented “czars” who are clearly communist or marxist to heal the economy?
…Like bowing to the king of a nation that allows fathers to murder of girls who don’t follow “traditional” values of Islam?
Yeah…that’s real nuance…if by nuance you mean pissing off the majority of the populace, the sovereign people (We, the People…) without whose consent there is no legitimate government.
