Not that it matters
Gallup explains that the country is trending a bit more conservative these days, not that it appears to matter to the administration or Congressional leadership:
Changes among political independents appear to be the main reason the percentage of conservatives has increased nationally over the past year: the 35% of independents describing their views as conservative in 2009 is up from 29% in 2008. By contrast, among Republicans and Democrats, the percentage who are “conservative” has increased by one point each.
VDH thinks that President Obama will continue to push very liberal policies, and that this will be the result: “he will polarize the country in a way not seen since 1968, set back racial relations to the 1960s, do to the reputation of big government what LBJ did from 1964 to 1968, and, in the manner of what Jimmy Carter wrought, turn voters off liberal foreign policy for a generation.” We shall see.

Doesn’t matter. A. Democrats want big gov. B. The GOP/RNC loves and wants big gov( yeah, I know what they SAY ). Big gov wants big gov. The world wants big gov. Big finance wants big gov. The Fed is all about big gov. American peasants can go stuff themselves. Human doormats. Grand Central Station has been stepped on less.
