Upping the ante

Gore: Polar ice may vanish in 5-7 years…New computer modeling suggests the Arctic Ocean may be nearly ice-free in the summertime as early as 2014, Al Gore said Monday at the U.N. climate conference. This new projection, following several years of dramatic retreat by polar sea ice, suggests that the ice cap may nearly vanish in the summer much sooner than the year 2030, as was forecast by a U.S. government agency eight months ago.

One way or another, someone is likely to look pretty foolish shortly.

Two years ago, Al Gore guaranteed the polar ice caps would be gone in 5 years. By my math that makes the catastrophe a 2013 event.

Why do I feel the ‘miracle’ proving the Goracle’s Warmist faith will always be ‘just five years away!’

    Al Gore’s integrity regarding ‘climate change’… a solid B+

According to Gateway Pundit from a The Times Online report, Gore repeated his claim that the Arctic could be completely ice free in five years. He then went on to say: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”

Dr Maslowski–the scientist on whose calculations Gore based his extrodinary prediction–said, “It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at. I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.”

Looks like Gore is telling folks at the GW Party what they want to hear. Even if it isn’t the truth. But, then again, that’s nothing new for him. But notice how he keeps using weasel words like could. Can’t someone just tell him to shut up, take his ill gotten profits and call it a day!

The acronym is GIGO. It stands for garbage in, garbage out. These computer models are carefully tweaked mathematical functions, which create the desired output. Nobody has ever been able to run real, unadjusted historical data through them and predict the present.

When people start saying “trust me,” I ask myself what’s in it for you. In summary, this is about transferring a lot of money from me to Al Gore, various governmental and non-governmental agencies, and possibly even the UN. This is the biggest swindle in the history of mankind.

Some smart politicain will demand RICO investigations for anyone connected to this fraud. Even the most stupid person is going to eventually wake up and notice it is getting colder when the liars predicted it would be hotter.

Gore still has the same smug tone, as he states these “facts” off the cuff.

He claimed there would be a 20 foot rise in sea levels this century, which even his advocates claim is not supported … maybe three feet.

Then he claims the center of the earth is millions of degrees. He doesn’t say two million or five million … just “millions”. He’s a genius darnit … don’t expect him to be precise with us stupid people. Of course 5000 is a lot closer.

Now he again spits out wrong information, but with the tone that if you disagree with him, you are a flat earther, which is what he has basically called those that don’t submit to his lunacy.

Pride goes before a fall …
