For the record — 60% approval predicted

Ben Smith of the Politico spoke with a White House official who predicted an approval rating of 60% for President Obama, which would be a dramatic turnaround from recent numbers:

an official predicted to me the other day that Obama’s numbers would hit 60 after the health care bill passes, and Chuck Schumer seems to think roughly the same thing: that the public polling on the Democratic reform bill will turn around “soon.” When people see what is in this bill and when people see what it does, they will come around,” Schumer said. “The reason people are negative is not the substance of the bill, but the fears that the opponents have laid out. When those fears don’t materialize, and people see the good in the bill, the numbers are going to go up.”

Surely such a prediction must be true when Democrats and Republicans alike agree on so much, and when a bill is arrived at in such an open and honest process.

“When people see what is in this bill …”

Why can’t we already see what is in the bill?

A total takeover of our health care, and they are still trying to hide things. Even with big media acting as the Democrat’s used car salesman, Americans are already learning what really IS in this bill, and they hate it.

The special interests won again, and it will be law that we have to pay much higher rates. They have mandated that we pay top dollar for a special interest lemon … pucker up.
