Interesting quote
From a novel published in 1927 that doesn’t sound all that dated today:
“He was born to be a senator. He never said anything important, and he always said it sonorously.”
We thought about that fellow just last June. And now former worshippers of a certain demi-god are having second thoughts. Funny thing about that.

Can we now start saying openly that the emperor has no clothes? Quite a few of us have been saying it for some time now but only in back rooms and in hushed tones so as not to be called the “R” word.
