Keep on talking

It seems that the more the administration, the heads of foreign governments and bankrupt cities criticize Arizona’s immigration enforcement law, the more popular the law gets. Rasmussen:

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Arizona finds that 71% now favor the immigration law, while 24% oppose it. In late April, the law was supported by 64% of the state’s voters and opposed by 30% Nationally, 55% of voters favor passage of such a law in their state.

We suppose that the administration’s strategy is to fire up its base for November, as follows: (a) Let’s not enforce the laws that have been on the books for decades! (b) Let’s spend even more money we don’t have! Good luck with that.
