Same old story
Same old dreary story from Rasmussen:
25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18…Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters nationwide favor repeal of the health care law. That’s the highest level of support for repeal yet measured.
Pollster Doug Schoen said: “to fully take advantage of the sour and cynical public mood Democrats must move decisively to the right, clearly and unabashedly, as Mark Critz did.” Will they do so or continue to double down?

Not only do they need to move right, they must admit the second way is a failure and move credibly to adopt third way ideals and positions. This is not possible at present because the Dems old line power brokers believe they are ascendant and the Dems are would need to completely contradict their current positions to do so.
Obama can survive this maelstrom if he follows Bill Clinton’s lead after his disastrous first two years and begins to work with the Repubs to enact third way goals.
Obama is not Bill Clinton and I do not expect this to happen.

The man has bankrupted the nation. He’s Bush on steroids. I’m looking for someone who will say “no way”, not some third way. Balance the budget, and keep it that way.
