How do you get votes by insulting the majority?
From Prop 8 to the Mosque near the WTC, from the disapproval of Congress’s spending to the disapproval of the President’s performance, from the opposition to Obamacare to the support for the Arizona law, a majority of the American people are on the same side of the arguments. And the curious thing is that the media and the incumbent majority politicians insult this large group and call them names — in an election year no less. How that is a winning plan for November is anyone’s guess. As a matter of strategy and tactics it is incomprehensible to us. What’s the secret plan that explains this apparent idiocy? HT: JOM

I would like to eliminate the phrase “American People” and replace it with “American Citizens” . I want to hear the libtards try and say “citizens” with a straight face

Entrenched, bought and paid for incumbents take the side of their special interests and against US citizens. So they are forced to try to explain their actions with spin and bold lies.
Somehow moving toward socialized medicine for all is going to save the government money AND your rates will stay the same.
Failing to control the border while taking Arizona to court for trying, is really fighting racism.
Bowing to foreign and enemy states, both literally and figuratively, is really the way to demonstrate American exceptionalism … by showing that we recognize what an evil country we’ve been, and expressing contrition.
Crippling our energy production with a moratorium and promises of cap and tax, is actually saving the planet and recognizing that Americans have been too successful.
At this point they are back to blaming Bush … but if some of the billions of wealth they have “spread around” (to their union friends and special interests) makes it into massive ad campaigns and ACORN style voter fraud efforts, perhaps they can just buy the election with only 30% actual support. Isn’t that what they saved half the stimulus for … an electioneering slush fund?

Shhhhh. Let them continue in their folly! Then pray that the American public will show them the foolishness of their ways come November and then again in 2012!

It defies conventional wisdom. But, who says these people are wise? My theory is that all of this is being orchestrated from the top. The elites want the people so infuriated by the current administration that they will elect the next conservative dictator (e.g. Germany 1932).
