Jobs, jobs, jobs — once more, with feeling

We’ve said it before, and before that. As the chart illustrates, it’s all about jobs, jobs, jobs. Even Democratic pollsters understand this. But the Obama administration has other priorities. The debate now in much of the country is whether the administration are radical Leftists or simply witless.

Elizabeth Drew tries to make things clear to us peons that we are dim bulbs whose priorities are misplaced: “That Obama is on the defensive after successfully, and against the odds, ringing up a long list of significant victories — a health care bill of historic importance — is due, in part, to Republicans’ repetitive lies…plus an alarmingly ill-informed public.” Ah yes, we understand now. We’re not worthy! (HT: BOTW)

Ronald Reagan was elected President when I was 18 and Rush LImbaugh has been on the radio since Reagan left office. These issues have been widely discussed, daily and in a high profile way, for the past 30 years.

Why don’t people listen? Why is anyone surprised?

You never see the perfect storm until it is on top of you! Failing manufacturing, 30 years of horrible schooling, 50 years of unions, 20 years of horrible bad mortgages, 30 years of media mania, and a hollow idealist in the white house. All of the sudden, the bubble we had been riding didn’t seem so safe and as the illusion left us, so did the air in the bubble…… but you can’t re-fill the bubble no matter how hard Obama blows!

Elizabeth Drew has a job. She lacks the perspective to understand the issue. She should be given six months of unemployment, then asked to rewrite the story.

Is E. Drew’s pen name Nancy Drew?

She is living in a fictional world, but she doesn’t get to fabricate a fairytale ending for her mythical “herObama”. Reality will interrupt her dream world soon enough.
