Newt is an outstanding debater. Is he a good executive? No one knows. I would love to see him debate Obama, but I am not convinced he’s the best candidate the Republicans can field.
While probably too much of a step down for Gingrich, I’d like to see him as press secretary or whatever the person is called to spars with the Washington media at the daily briefings. It would make for endless comedy.
